Dogconnection is dedicated to improving our understanding of dog communication and as a result, improving their behaviour with us.
Through this site, you can access guidance, information and solutions. Our aim is to answer questions about man’s best friend and most importantly, give positive and practical advice on how to get the best out of your relationship with your dog.
Dog psychology and canine behaviour is a hugely interesting subject matter. Dogs are not human and they do not think or communicate like a human, they rely heavily on an amazing sense of smell and are experts at reading body language and tone of voice.
It is this natural ability that makes us think dogs understand everything we say. You will have the fullest and most rewarding relationship with your dog if you learn how your dog functions and reacts.

Sue advises on and demonstrates methods of alpha communication, de-sensitisation, positive reinforcement and behaviour modification techniques, to achieve a positive response and rehabilitation.

Workshops: will be aimed at Dog Owners and those who work with dogs. The workshops will provide basic information about dog psychology and can help you to influence dogs through use of canine communication methods (alpha training).
Our end target is a calm, stress-free dog and a calm, confident owner. The welfare of both dog and owner are our utmost consideration.
